 WHAT IS THE SPARK?

The Spark is the first electric motorcycle ready for prime time. It's blazingly fast, meltingly sharp to look at, and, oh yes, completely silent. This ride will change the way you think about "environmentally friendly" stuff. No compromises, no sacrifices.
The Spark is revolutionary, built with components that have only recently become commercially viable. It's the first electric vehicle to combine high-power lithium-ion batteries with a sophisticated power management microprocessor, and put them into an affordable ride.
The Spark is a clean bike in every way. Clean lines. No extra, styled, pretty plastic stuff to ruin the look. A naked bike, with all its components on display. Nothing to hide. Its simplicity is its charm. It's got a motor, battery, and controller box. It's got all the essentials, fused into a steel frame package that just plain works. It's a wedge with kick.
Most people associate speed with sound. Think about it. You grew up knowing the sound of a train, plane, car or motorcycle. Here's a pivot. Silence. When you ride the Spark, there's no piston beat, no thump-thump, no noise, no clutter. Hell, you can count the moving parts on your fingers. It's a bit disconcerting at first. You're going super fast, and all you have to hold onto is the road, the wind, and the world around you. Riders compare the experience to hang gliding, plus acceleration. In fact, there's an equation in there somewhere. [Glide * Acceleration] / Noise = KickAss Blazing Fun. (As noise approaches zero, KickAss Blazing Fun approaches infinity.)
What is the Spark? Well, it's not exactly a motorcycle, and it's certainly not a scooter. (Try to feel this way on a step-through putt-putt scooter, we dare you.) It's in a category all to itself. More like an electric dirtbike for the morning commute. A working man's practical (yet subversive, yet fun) ride to work. How about an electrocycle? Can't call it an electrobike, because it's no bicycle. How about an ElectroRide?
